common questions before you book.
Q: do you source the parts?
A: yes — default. I order from best-priced reputable retailer, pass through receipts. you can also supply your own.
Q: can I supply my own parts?
A: absolutely. send the list, I'll sanity-check compatibility, flag anything questionable. same $99 build fee.
Q: warranty?
A: manufacturer warranties (2-10yr on individual parts) + 1yr workmanship from me. if anything I built fails — cabling, mount, thermals — free fix for the first year.
Q: timeline?
A: once parts arrive: 24-72h including 24h stress testing. total time depends on shipping for your parts list.
Q: pickup or shipping?
A: Bay Area pickup is the default (SF / Palo Alto). California shipping at cost, double-boxed, GPU re-seated for transit. I don't ship outside CA.
Q: used parts — yes or no?
A: GPUs sometimes, if budget calls for it and a tested unit is available. Everything else (PSU, drives) new only. you always see what's used vs new before approving.
